Edith Lettner - Alto & Soprano Saxophone

Edith Lettner (alto & sopranosax) studied under Leo Wright and Manfred Balasch, she came to the “Stefan Wagner Group” in 2002 and since then she is a strong solistic support to the band. Besides that she’s leading the ethno jazz formation “Phone3Phone” (together with Stephan Brodsky) and plays saxophone in numerous other bands. Edith Lettner is also a recognized painter (the design of the CD cover to “Listen Well” is hers) and she forms numerous own intercultural and interdisciplinary projects. In 2006 she has founded her own band “Freemotion” (CD “Moving Offroad”).http://www.edith-lettner.net
